had a lovely stay at old hunters lodge. the atmosphere was really nice and our room was comfy and newly decorated. breakfast was yummy and there were plenty of towels. overall, very impressed!
the bed in our room was kinda small, so just a heads up if ur on the bigger side. also, the food could be better, some dishes were not as good as we hoped.

Couple seeking a cozy getaway
I gotta say the food was well prepared. I had the chicken liver and pancetta pâtè to start and let me tell ya, it was delicious and the steak was cooked just right! Another highlight was the atmosphere of the place, very charming and the staff were engaging, even got to chat with one of the owners about gin.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still, considering the experience, it was acceptable.
